This study explores the impact of shall-issue laws, which allow citizens to carry concealed handguns, on crime rates in the United States. By analyzing historical crime data from 1977 to 1999, we aim to uncover the relationship between these laws and crime indicators such as violent crime, robbery, and murder rates. The findings provide valuable insights for policymakers, law enforcement, and the public, contributing to the national discussion on gun control and public safety.
